yesterday
i found myself saying
nobody understands
how ironic
i used to turn to you
in times
like these
what hurts most
is not
that you're not here
today
but that
you won't be here
tomorrow
or the days after
you will miss
my milestones
they will miss you
without you
the world
seems unbalanced.

I'm so sorry. But I have no words which can comfort or make it hurt less. Grief doesn't work that way I learned.
Loved reading this.
"you will miss
my milestones
they will miss you"
I can relate to this. I lost my grandma two years ago. She was like a mother to me. I miss her everyday. She was one of the very few people in my life who truly understood me.
