It was a cruel joke and I was a naive victim To fall Headlong into its trap Had realisation struck afore I would not have been Deceived by the beckoning mirages.

Life is precisely like that. We never know a mirage for one till we actually take the plunge. But if it had been known beforehand, the fun would be lost and remember that most great things were done just by chasing shadows.
